Job Title: IT Business Solutions Consultant

Job Overview

DCC is looking for a full time IT Business Solutions Consultant to work in our Farmington Hills, MI office. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in meeting or exceeding sales quotas, and prior experience with both corporate and government IT accounts. Some travel may be required. This exempt position is part of the sales team and reports to the Sales Manager.

Duties and responsibilities include:

    1. Working daily with customers on information and pricing requests, and post sales support issues.
    2. Expanding customer base while working with existing customers.
    3. Sales order management, including quote and order preparation and processing.
    4. Working with existing OEM partners on virtualization projects.
    5. Providing in-person demonstrations for current and potential customers.
    6. Building and maintaining relationships with end users via phone and e-mail.
    7. Working with other office departments to support customers.
    8. Providing top-notch customer service to current and potential customers.
    9. Following sales process and procedures as directed by sales manager.
    10. Other duties as assigned.

Required skills and experience include:

    1. 2-5 years of experience in IT Sales with mid to large-size enterprises.
    2. 2-5 years of experience with virtualization platforms (Citrix, Microsoft, VMWare, etc).
    3. Knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Office applications, and Microsoft CRM.
    4. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, including public speaking.
    5. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
    6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to their success.
    7. Excellent time management and leadership skills.
    8. Ability to work under pressure to achieve sales targets.
    9. Commitment to learning and upgrading skills on a continuous basis.

Compensation: Base salary plus 10% commission on gross margin, paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay, retirement savings account, medical insurance benefits , and an outstanding team and work environment.
