Dynamic Computer named as "Fast Growth 100" company among IT resellers
FARMINGTON HILLS, MI - Dynamic
Computer Corporation was recently listed among the Fast
Growth 100 companies by industry trade magazine CRN in
its July 24 issue.
Dynamic Computer, with revenues of nearly $24 million in
2006, came in at 94th on the list with over 57 percent
revenue growth for fiscal year 2005.
CRN is a weekly trade magazine that provides industry
information for VARs and technology integrators. It has
a circulation of more than 117,000.
The CRN article titled, "Growing Like Gangbusters"
indicated that the key to being included on the Fast
Growth 100 list was a unique corporate value
proposition. "Time and time again, it's the ingenuity
(of these 100 companies) and the investments they make
in their people, their infrastructure and their customer
relationships that earned them a place on the list of
top performers," wrote reporter Jeanette Boyne.
"This was a tremendous honor for our company and it is
another example of the commitment we display in meeting
the needs of our customers," said Dynamic Computer Vice
President Farida Ali. "The cornerstone of our business
is customer service. We focus squarely on fulfilling the
needs of every customer and that goal is reflected in
this ranking."
Evolving business models and investment in employee
expertise were two additional common themes that the
Fast Growth 100 companies exhibited, according to the
CRN article. Yet putting customers first emerged as the
foundation for those companies listed.
Dynamic Computer was just one of three Michigan
companies that made the Fast Growth 100 list and was one
of two such companies in Southeastern Michigan.
To the greatest extent possible, all companies' claims
of net income in 2003 and 2005 were verified against Dun
& Bradstreet or public records. All companies on the
list provided an affidavit signed by an owner or officer
of the company, or a CPA representing the company, that
attested to the accuracy of the numbers.
Each applicant's two-year growth rate was calculated
based on the change in calendar-year, accrual-basis net
sales between 2003 and 2005. The applicants were then
ranked in descending order by this growth rate and the
top 100 were selected for the list.
Eligibility for the Fast Growth 100 necessitated that
each company:
" Maintain its company headquarters in the United States
" Be independent (not a subsidiary of another company)
" Have realized net sales of at least $750,000 in 2003
" Have been operating since Jan. 1, 2003, or earlier
" Be a "solution provider" as defined by CRN, not a
vendor (seller of proprietary IT hardware or software)
or distributor.
